With over a decade of experience
in the communications field and policy arena, Joy Fischer assists
clients in creating media relations' opportunities, stakeholder
communication strategies and crisis communications plans.
Fischer has secured a number of high-profile national
broadcast placements including segments on NBC Nightly News
and Fox & Friends. Additionally, she has secured
placements in the op-ed pages of the Los Angeles Times
and the Detroit News.
Fischer recently served as the Director of Public
Relations for a Carmel-based advertising agency. Prior to that,
she was the Director of Corporate Communications for a publicly
traded software company in Silicon Valley.
Her policy experience includes work for the world's
largest public relations firm, Burson-Marsteller, in Washington,
D.C. Fischer worked primarily with non-profit clients, providing
communications planning and training to grassroots members and member
groups.
Fischer is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA)
and serves on the Pinnacle Awards Committee. She is also a Red Cross
volunteer.
Fischer and her family reside in Hamilton
County.
